Production lead time

Our doors are custom manufatured for each order. Each and every door is made to measure in a variery of materials.

Providing the material you order is in stock, our production system normally requires 10 business days. We treat ALL orders as urgent. Some of our products require multiple production processes which can take up to 20 business days.

If materials are not in stock or are on back order, the material supplier's delivery time must be added to the production period.

Cash orders

Because a significant percentage of cash orders are never paid for, it is our policy that manufacture of these orders will not begin until payment is received.

The processing of direct debit payments generally adds another day to the lead time and cheque clearances add 3 days.

This extra day can be avoided by using the credit card facility available on this website. Click the Quotes/Orders tab and register. When your registration is approved, log in and complete your order.

Because credit card records are not kept on this website, credit card security is not an issue.

Credit card payments can also be processed promptly by phoning 1300 560 042.

Delivery lead time

Depending on the customer location, delivery can be anywhere between 1 day to 5 days.

As air freight costs are prohibitive, all deliveries are by road transport.

Proof of delivery

Proof of delivery is a requirement. Our freight  companies are instructed not to leave goods at unattended premises. There must be a person present at the delivery address you have provided, during normal business hours, to sign the freight manifest or consignment note.

We are unable to deliver at a pre-arranged time.

Invoice date

Because of the above mentioned disparity in delivery times, delivery of goods to the Customer occurs when despatched from our premises.

The date of despatch will be the invoice date.

Mailing address

If your mailing address is different to your delivery address, please ensure that both addresses are supplied.

Other conditions

The Customer is liable for any additional expenses incurred due to non-delivery, including but not limited, to expenses resulting from the Customer not having an authorized person to sign for receipt of goods.

The Customer must within 7 working days after delivery inspect the goods and give written notice of damage, shortages or anything else not in accordance with this agreement.

The Customer agrees to keep goods in the condition in which they were delivered until Luxul Doors (at its option) either has inspected the goods or gives notice to the Customer that the goods are to be returned.

In order for Luxul's website and online ordering system to work properly, please make sure that:

  • The latest version of the browser you're using is installed in your computer
  • Cookies are enabled
  • Pop-ups are enabled for Luxul Doors' website

In some instances, cookies can be corrupted and they need to be erased. See section below to learn how to do it.

Check / upgrade browser

Modern browsers can be upgraded in the same section where the version is checked. To check the browser version:

  • Google Chrome. Open Google Chrome. Click on the Spanner menu icon (the 3 dots at top right side) Select Help, then select About Google Chrome
  • Internet Explorer. Open Internet Explorer. Click on 'Help' in the menu bar or press Alt + H. Then select About Internet Explorer
  • Firefox. Open Firefox. Click on 'Help' in the menu bar or press Alt + H. Then select About Firefox

If your browser is not the latest version it would be recommended to get it upgraded.

How to enable cookies in your browser

  • Google Chrome. Open Google Chrome. Click on the Spanner menu icon (the 3 dots at top right side), select settings. Scroll all the way down and click on Show advanced settings. Click the Content Settings button. From the section marked Cookies, tick the box next to Allow local data to be set
  • Internet Explorer. Open Internet Explorer. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options, or the setting icon at the top right side, and then click Internet Options. Click the Privacy tab, and then, under Settings, move the slider Medium and then click OK
  • Firefox. Open Firefox. Click the menu button (top right side) and choose Preferences. Then click Privacy. Set Firefox will: remember history

How to allow Luxul's pop-ups in your browser

  • Google Chrome. Open Google Chrome. Click on the Spanner menu icon (the 3 dots at top right side), select settings. Scroll all the way down and click on Show advanced settings. Click the Content Settings button. Scroll down and look for section marked Pop-Ups, click Manage Exceptions, type in: https://www.alsertdoors.com.au then click Finished
  • Internet Explorer. Open Internet Explorer. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options, or the setting icon at the top right side, and then click Internet Options. Click the Privacy tab, and then click the Settings button in the pop-up blocker section. In 'Address of Website to allow:' type in  https://www.alsertdoors.com.au then click Add
  • Firefox. Open Firefox. Click the menu button (top right side) and choose Preferences. Then click Content. In Pop-ups click exceptions. In 'Address of website:' type in https://www.alsertdoors.com.au click Allow, then click Save Changes

How to delete cookies in your browser

  • Google Chrome. Open Google Chrome. Click on the Spanner menu icon (the 3 dots at top right side), select settings. Scroll all the way down and click on Show advanced settings. Click the Clear Browsing Data button. in Obliterate the following items from: select the beginning of time. Make sure cookies are ticked and then click 'Clear browsing data'
  • Internet Explorer. Open Internet Explorer. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options, or the setting icon at the top right side, and then click Internet Options. Click the General tab, and then in the Browsing History section, click the Delete button. Make sure cookies are ticked then click Delete.
  • Firefox. Open Firefox. Click the menu button (top right side) and choose Preferences. Then click Privacy. Under history, click the link 'clear your recent history'. Make sure cookies is ticked, click Clear Now
